“ Miller's is the non-Amish smorgasbord that's been around forever. It's nice that it's more like a regular restaurant.... you can order from the regular menu if you like and they have full waiter service, drinks, and all that and are open normal hours (i. e. past six) including Sunday. It also doesn't quite feel like a feeding trough like some of the other local buffets, which is a nice respite. Food: Overall., pretty solid. Again, with all these buffets, there is an issue with the food being cold or dried out. The last time I went, they had placed covers over the entree items which helped with that, and obviously some items stay hot longer than others so factor that into your selection choices. And of course go for whatever has just been refilled. And when in doubt, just dump hot gravy over everything. I also like that they have a carving station, usually with decent roast beef and turkey as well as a fresh veggie section which is so very needed after a weekend of heavy Amish food. Also, if you're really all done with all the heavy food, you can also just get the soup and salad bar, which is pretty robust on its own. Note: Miller's is one of the top tour bus destinations in Lancaster so make a reservation in advance here or risk facing ridiculously long waits. ”

“ Went to Amish Country and we were craving Amish food which has been tough since our favorite farm to table restaurant closed. We had heard good things about Miller's and thought we would check it out. We saw several Amish families go in so are expectations were set high. Food was good and buffet was All you Can Eat so bring your appetite. This reminded me of Smorgasbords we visited when I was a kid. There were a lot of choices and to be honest have not seen so many food choices in my life. I have a hard time at all you can eat restaurants so focused only on a few items.... The mash potatoes were real and so good. They had a meat carving station with several choices and I opted for the Roast beef which was excellent. I also had Fried Chicken which was good. They had a huge selection of desserts but was not a fan of the desserts offered. Food was good and reasonable priced for what you got (28 dollars) though for me was not a great deal as I can not eat that much food. ”

“ The food here is always good, it's a little too crowded for me as I prefer the smaller Amish run places. This is more commercialized compared to some of the other Amish restaurants but the food doesn't disappoint. ”

“ We came in with reservations and they seated us within five minutes of opening. Our server was friendly and took our drink orders right away and cleared the plates in a timely manner. The food selection was great, including fried chicken, salad, shrimp, meatballs, and a carving station for ham, turkey, and steak. The dessert selection was great too. There were pies, ice cream, and cookies. The dining room was huge, so you weren't too crowded in. I recommend this place the next time you are in the area. ”

“ This is the only Smorgasbord Restaurant that I went to over my 4 days in Lancaster and I thought it was great. I tried not to be a total pig, so I only filled my plate up twice ... and also got dessert. Plenty of food here with various stations to go to. You will definitely find enough to eat as there is quite a big variety. Place filled up when I was there but it was fine and fun since you can go up and get your food whenever you are ready. Would definitely recommend this place. ”

“ Great selection of yummy Pennsylvania Dutch food! Reservations recommended as they are busy! A couple veggie dishes were barely warm, but other items were appropriately hot or chilled/cold. The desserts are very meh... cheesecake options are good but the rest are meh... I've been there a number of times over the past 6 or so years - and this past year or so the shoofly pie has been disappointing -when we went late Aug. it was very dry & blah. Not sure if they have new pastry/dessert chef or what - but go ahead and fill up on scrumptious main / side courses! ”

“ We didn't want to leave Lancaster, PA without trying Amish fried chicken and desserts from Dienner's Country Restaurant. It was recommended to us. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on Labor Day :( Luckily, we found Miller's Smorgasbord on the same road as Dienner's. Miller's restaurant has been in business since 1929. The buffet has a variety of food options such as seafood, roast beef, fried chicken, oven roasted Turkey, soups, salads and desserts for $28.99. Our favorite was the fried shrimp, roast Turkey, fried chicken, Mac and cheese and crispy French fries. Reservations are recommended. Our wait time was only 30 minutes. “ Very clean buffet. Sometimes I get grossed out by a buffet when food is spilled everywhere. Miller's they kept clean. They offered full buffet, or soup and salad for two different price points. Then unlimited soda, tea, coffee and juice for another cost. I did not get pics but my favorite part of the buffet was the homemade soups. The soup I tried was a cheeseburger potato. Unique option that tasted really good. I believe they offered six to eight soups. At the carving station turkey, roast beef, and ham were offered. Next Miller's offered salad, hot entrees, comfort foods, and desserts. CT needs a good clean buffet like Miller's. ”

“ Whaaaat? Did someone actually state that the food in Miller's, lacked flavor? I left, looking as if I were about to give birth to twins! The food and options are amazing, plentiful, tasty and fresh. Our waitress was quick and friendly. There's a nice salad bar, but come on; who goes to an Amish buffet to eat, SALAD? I filled up on the fried chicken, perfectly seasoned, juicy, crispy skin, the home-style stuffing, perfectly whipped, creamy mashed potatoes, creamed cabbage, buttered brown noodles, tangy stewed tomatoes, a carvery of ham/roast beef, the real stuff mac & cheese, steamed shrimp, chicken pot pie (holly cow - no wonder I had a tummy ache), ending my meal with two slices of moist yellow cake, chocolate buttercream icing. Come Hungry! At around 4:30PM on a Thursday, the crowd was minimal. ”
